This is a tribute to Buffy my pet rabbit who died suddenly in January of a tooth abcess. She was only 8 months old.

Buffy was a house rabbit and had a very happy but short life. If you're thinking of getting a rabbit then please EDUCATE YOURSELF first!!! Rabbits need a lot of care and dietry needs that pet shops will not warn you about! Rabbits are the most abandoned pets in the UK because people don't learn enough about them before they buy one and get overwhelmed by the amount of care they need. Rabbits are distructive, they don't like being held, are NOT good pets for children, require a lot of attention, can be aggressive or unresponsive, are difficult to train, they will need to be spayed and vacinated which will lead to costly vet bills, and they're cage/hutches will constantly need cleaned. BUT... for commited owners who have a lot of time and love to give rabbits can also be very affectionate, fun loving, and a fantastic companion just like Buffy was.

Before you buy, know what you're getting yourself into! EDUCATE YOURSELF!!!!

  • i love your video my cousins rabbit after dying

  • IM so sorry for your loss! I was wonder what kind of rabbit is she?

  • I lost my rabbit, Millie, a few years ago, I also made a trubite video for her, its on my channel... I know how incredibly hard it is to cope with, being an animal lover myself, Losing Millie nearly killed me, She was my rock through everything. The haters on here need to realize its not easy caring for a sick pet, it's like watching a family member die.. Well it was to me.. Your rabbit was so lovely, and to die at such a young age is awful. I really hope you're okay, and if you need a chat :)<3

  • One of the loveliest tributes I have ever seen. I am so sorry that you lost your sweet beloved bunny.

  • awwww ur bunny is so cute! i feel sorry for ur loss. i know what u are going through, because when i was younger, I used to a have a rabbit called Smoky and a guinea pig called Beedy. They both died of old age. The same thing happened to one of my gerbils (i think about a month ago from now.). My gerbil was called George. He was 3 years old. R.I.P Smoky, Beedy and George. u were all good pets. i also used to have two yellow goldfish, which i named goldie and treasure, and they both died in 2010.

  • Thanks for your tribute. So sorry you only got to keep your little friend for so short a time. Our Cuddly died at age 18 months of lymphoma, here one day, gone the next. Lots of work, but we would never have been without her, she used to want me to lie on the floor next to her and pat her and would eat my fringe if she wanted more pats. She is missed, but we stil have two lovely house bunnies. Gotta go wipe my tears way now, what a loss of your lovely little one.

  • My mums painting our house and tommorow she's painting my room so she had to clean up so she decided to throw out this old rag which smelt. As soon as I asked her where it was I started crying 'cause she said it was in the bin. I quickly ran to the bin and want to my room. It was the last thing my rabit Gemma touched before she died. :'( I miss you Gemma.
