  • Funny how VH grossed 100 million with Dave and they didn't have to sing one Sammy song.

No one gives a shit about Sammy. That's why Chickenfoot has bombed. Another 100 million for Dave and VH in 2012!

  • Thanks for Part 1 and 3, but where's part 2????

  • @SpiritKnob I dont have official start/finish dates for either. I have heard Sammy and Eddie state that Sammy was in VH longer. I guess I took their words for it.

  • @thechucker44 No he wasn't. Dave was in from 1974 to 1985, Sammy was in from 1985-1996. If you count Dave's return, then it's 17 years vs 11 years.

  • @thechucker44

Dave was in the band from 1972 to 1985, Sammy was in the band from 1985 to 1996. Who again was in the band longer?

  • robin is such an ass kiss, fake ass bitch! she did the same shit when sammy was on the show. two faced bitch.

  • @MrVHWolf Stupid fuck!!

  • @minimumpayne I don't understand your point. Yes..they did 5-6 songs from the Roth era w/Sammy. They will do ZERO on this new tour from the Sammy era. I'm not sure for Roth that it is his ego...I just think he knows he can't. Could you imagine DLR singing "Dreams"?

  • @thechucker44 If that's the case why did they sing a grand total of 5 or 6 classic-VH tunes with Sammy? They did Jump, You Really Got Me, Aint Talkin Bout..., Unchained on the Balance tour .... uhh ... what else, maybe one or two others? Sam *could* sing the Roth tunes, but his ego wouldn't allow it.

  • @crazytempest True...if you really want to take sides from a musical standpoint - there is no comparison. On the other hand if you watch the US festival where Dave forgets the lyrics - he was so cool back then it didnt matter. He says right in the song he forgot the words and the place goes nuts. Try to figure that one out.
