  • God Damn Mongolians Trying to Tear Down My ShitTy Wall!!!

  • Grrrrr. You don't 'fire' a bow, you 'shoot' a bow.

I'd have liked to have seen a lot more of the techniques in the bow-making, with some more in-depth explanation of what was going on.

  • @comradecommedy So youre saying its better because its bigger? You know theres videos on youtube with turkish bows being shot that are over 100 pounds draw. You do realize that pound per pound composite bows proven by science and physics are stronger than longbows right? You also understand a lot of people had steel arrows not just the british lmao. Also how would you know if youve never shot anything but a longbow lol.

  • why are all these english longbow fanboys in here saying longbows are better I mean its common sense a composite bow would be stronger if you knew anything about science or physics. lol I think some white people just want to take sides with their own race. lol

  • this is mongolian horn bow. not the infamous composite bow.

  • @Tonybsmagicalworld Beg to differ, the English Longbow, as what was discovered from the wreck of the Mary Rose, had been determined to have a pull weight of 100 to 150 Pound pull.... I will site "Longbow, a Military and social history" by Robert Hardy. Now as for the pull of the Mongolian, I haven't the foggiest idea, so I will accept your point there.

  • @comradecomedy The average British longbow( For example, the ones used at Crécy) were 70 to 90 pounds max. The Mongolian Composite Bow was around 100 to 160 pounds.

  • holy shit watch this video baked in the minds eye of the boyer.. fukin awesom dude

  • @comradecommedy Horse archers learned that it is very difficult to manuevere using a wooden bow like a longbow on horseback. Horse archers aims towards their enemies while pursuing or fleeing from using. Using a longbow, he kept poking the horse during such manueveres and the horse will get annoyed. A shorterned wooden bow will break during a full draw. Bowyers need to find materials that are strong enough to prevent a shortened bow from breaking during a full draw.

  • @comradecommedy I do agree that the longbow is a powerful weapon but not as powerful as the Mongol bow otherwise known as recurved composite bow. The longbow is after a self bow carved from a single piece of wood. Its power depends on its length, width and the type of wood used in its construction. The Mongol bow is more powerful as it is able to hit its target at a further distance and is able to penetrate metal armor deeper than the longbow.

  • @Hashishtani I've been doing archery since i was a kid and let me tell you something, THE MONGOLIAN BOW IS NOT STRONGER THAN THE BRITISH LONGBOW YOU FUCKING MORON!!!!! I can't stress this enough - the reason why the longbow is better is because it is much more larger there fore generating more power, and plus the English archer would carry metal tipped arrows meaning it will weigh more, plus the person who gets shot by a metal arrow will have to pull out his organs, overall the longbow is better

Thank you. It's alway good to learn something new from expertise. :-)
