This "history" is interesting, ...am I to infer from this that warfare is a particular characteristic of Western Culture? I'm certain that I must have missed something, right? No half-educated boob would make such a proposition....right?

I think the characters killing themselves were supposed to be symbolic of civilizations phasing each other out. The characters used were just prominent figures of those civilizations

Cool video, I could use some different music throughout.
Did you do all the animations? Did you draw them all, or import pictures from magazines, etc.?

They are all images I found in books. The idea was to use an image of a soldier made by the civilization or age that it represents. Obviously I couldn't use original images by the Neandrathal and early man (didn't want to use stick figures) so they are illustrations from the forties, I think.
The soundtrack is supposed to resemble a marching army, but also the march of time, the march of "progress". After awhile is becomes pretty abstract and it almost sounds like a heartbeat.
