@gamer163 a little bit of trial and error to figure out what you want to do. it's okay to take your time figuring it out if it means the rest of your life! and as i figured out, it's ok to change your mind if it means being happy! : )

@gamer163 yes i'm sure one day you'll figure out the perfect major! i can tell you that it really comes down to experience. i'm relating to this a lot right since as of today i've decided to change my major from english ed to elementary after figuring out that i wasn't as passion/as knowledgable about english as i originally had thought. after setting in 4 literature classes for the last two weeks, i decided i would be happier in elementary education. i guess what i'm trying to say is it takes
I think this video sucked and helped me not at all

@Lilredda7 Well aren't you a ray of sunshine. Normally I would apologize, but I'm going to skip it this time.If it sucked so bad, no reason to be rude, just move along. But maybe I can give you some more advice about college majors. I hope you never go into a job where you have to work with people, because obviously, you are not very good at communicating as well as providing critiques in a polite and respectful way.
On that note, I really do hope you find the advice you're looking for.

This was really helpful for me! I'm currently a junior in high school and I've always like english better than math or science. I love to read but I don't have a very strong vocabulary. I don't really like to write because I feel like I'm not good at it. What I'm worried about in college is the english classes because they will focus on vocabulary and writing but I'm not that strong in those areas. Do you have any tips for me to prepare myself (in high school) for english classes in college?

@SiLeNtLvEdREAMER glad to hear this was helpful! good news is, unless you major in something english related, you won't have that many english classes! english classes in college are almost always essay based (that's what they focus on!) so just make sure to take your time! if you're not a strong writer than having a rough draft is always helpful! you can also ask your professor for help and for vocabulary, a thesaurus is always handy! the more you practice, the better your writing will be! : )

I am having trouble with deciding a major right now...I kinda have to decide really soon since I have accumulated A LOT of credits already. i am academically good at a lot of classes. I have aced history, math (calc 2!!), gen chem, bio (super easy), and politics....so....what do you suggest me to do if I am interested in all sort of stuff? I would like say I am pretty versatile.

@mulan2012 that's a tough one! of course there is always a business major! although that seems to be the route most college students take, it is a very versatile major. i know many people go into mass communications as well! that covers many areas academically & if you are good with people & communicating this would be an awesome option! it seems like you are really good with the math/science route! have you looked into an economics degree? those are usually the top paid right out of college! :D
