this is actually a easy offense to stop.
1. dont look in the backfield, or get burned.
2. watch the tight ends instead! they tell u everything.
3. the fullback/upback will go where the play goes EVERYTIME unless its a counter in general

West Point High School and King William High School both in Virginia have ran the Single wing and Double WIng offence for years. Roger Brooks of King William just resigned to coach in Henrico County outside of Richmond where he plans to introduce it to AAA football could be interesting. He is a West Point grad by the way! yea that highschool in virginia is my high school, the giles spartans. and yea we have won 3 state championships since 1978 when coach ragsdale brought his daddys offense to giles, we won region 3 yrs in a row but lost in OT this year in the region finals

StoneBridge in northern va just won the state title today 12/08/2007 over an undefeated potomac (woodbridge va) team 38-0, using the micky thompson single wing

There's a high school in Virginia that has run the single wing since the late 70s. They have won 3 state titles and have had only 1 losing season since then.

Love the single wing O. Can't get any support to run it in central CA though. It really works in youth football though.

Yeah 3 times is a lot. You're team was better though, but those were the most fun games I thought. Are we going to be squaring off again this year?
