A semi improvised musical performance by Andy Holden (of The Grubby Mitts)to accompany the exhibition of paintings by James Iveson. Part 1 of 2. Extracted from 40 mins in total. Using samples from documentaries on painters such as Alex Katz, Howard Hodgkin, Ed Ruscha as a startinng point as well as reworkings of older pieces by Holden.

  • I have the German documentary about Alex Katz "What about Style?".Great interview and beautifully shot in Maine and NYC.Where this exhibition took place?It looks like the Temple Art school in Rome...Cool musical performance;-)
