the canopys are icarus extreme/PD velocitys, are about 70sq feet tri cell cross braced canopys, designed for expert canopy pilots. the vx39 is a prototype, the smallest/fastest stock canopy is the vx64.

these parachutes have around 70-90 square feet (and as the name shows vx39 has 39)

its ground effect and theyve built up speed to flare out.some of them dive in and skim at 80mph or so
