Evolution Festival 2009 Rubbish Wars - Newcastle

Evolution Festival 2009 - The crowd kicks off bigtime and starts tossing everything in the air, it grows and grows and after a few minutes hundreds of items are being flung high into the air, hitting anyone and everyone. Glad I was off to the side and avoided it all, as people got soaked with bottles of pee and everything in between, to much hilarity it has to be said. They wanted Little Boots I guess, badly!

(EDIT - Kingsley Chapman had nothing to do with the big bottle fight in the video, or anything else after their act, it may sould like that from what I have wrote, I am just dire at describing it I guess. Thought I would add this Edit just to make that clear :) my stupid use of the word Stupid was also well stupid )

This Bottle War happened on the Monday, but The Chapman Family first act up on day one said something, very, very, very stupid and that lead to many good things over the two days.

They said something along the lines of
"Please throw stuff at us, any old crap, anything you want, you will not get into trouble and security will not do anything"

You can imagine what came next....

I tried mainly to catch them on camera, not in mini movies, shame as I could have easily got the full 20 or so minutes long rubbish tossing session, too busy trying to almost impossibly catch them in photos. I wish I had caught the security guys and photographers getting hit, that was priceless, if evil haha

I went along for Ladyhawke, got stuck on the bridge! as morons with no tickets just stood on the bridge in mass hundreds and stopped anyone with tickets from getting thru, it was a joke! everyone was told in the end to get off the bridge as it was getting dangerous with mass over crowding and crushing going on, people with and without tickets. Gutted I was :(

a full bottle of water hit me in the back of the head and drenched me, my instant reaction was to get revenge and chuck something back... i picked a condom off the floor and chucked it infront of me and it landed right on some other girls cheek 4-5 people infront of me hahahahaha!!

someone pissed in a bottle and chucked it right near us n all, just saw all the piss spilling out over the crowd as it flew through the air hahaa
