Bedrich Smetana´s Festive Symphony (1855) was written for the wedding of Franz Joseph I. with Elisabeth. Smetana used the official antemn of the monarchy (theme of Haydn).

Lovely video, even the images are dancing! I've always thunk this one of the most enjoyable symphonic scherzi, pity it's contained in a rather bombastic symphony, so doesn't get played. The CzechPhil give lots of rythm &color.
