You know what just popped up in my mind as I started to think how far he's come - how much I LOVE the fact that he simply writes his heart out and people like his songs the way they are (I personally am crazy about the stories in his songs), in oppose to, say Lady Gaga or the other pop crap that's out there, where someone else writes what they think the general audience'd like and then shoves it into the performer's face and says - here, this is what you'll sing (and pretend to like;) ).
