I want to get a novak 3.5r system, is there anything bad I should know about it?

Im not sure with the novak systems... i can tell you what not to get though like the mamba max motors (5700K) due to overheating not over gearing. I have actually had the most luck with the VXL motor that comes with the Rustler mixed with the Mamba Max ESC.

maybe you can file out the copper a little to free it up? little h2o and a nail file? I am always one to try and salvage everything as much as possible. And what is wrong with Army? Doing those kind of donuts with the throttle open that hard is how I blew up the diff in my stampede vxl causing the planetary and sun gears to got soo hot that they melted their way through the diff casing and then the transmission housing and through the skid plate! I call it a top fuel dragster oil down!
