3rd movt - Allegro vivace (Scherzo)
4th movt - Allegro vivace
Artur Rodzinski conducting the Philharmonic-Symphony Orchestra of New York, performing Bizet's Symphony in C on Columbia Masterworks, Canadian pressing, set D153 (Columbia, in the 78rpm era, used different album numbers and covers here in Canada than they did in the States). This performance has apparently not been reissued; it's not even mentioned anywhere on the Internet. What I could find was that Rodzinski worked with this orchestra from 1943 to 1947. If anyone knows the date of this recording, please let me know.
Player: BSR UA25 mounted in Canadian-made Shelbern console.
