Airchecks from about July 23, 1980 with two talk show announcers taking strange callers (probably crank calls). Second announcer was B. Sam Hart, owner of the station at the time. End of aircheck is the station sunset sign off on or about March 23, 1981. Hart was nominated by President Reagan for the U.S. Civil Rights Commission in 1982 but his bid was unsuccessful due to his conservative views. In early 1984, B. Sam Hart again made the local Philadelphia headlines when his son Bradley and wife were brutally murdered in their Mt. Airy home following a dispute over the killers' home improvement work for the Hart family. The killers were caught and one sentenced to die by execution. The case continues with appeals. In 1988, Hart sold the station. He is still an active minister.
