HP's WebOS TouchPad Hack with Preware

I noticed that no HP TouchPad hacks have been posted, and therefore I decided to release my own video tutorial quickly showing what it can be capable of. Not to mention overclocking the CPU to make the UI and overall performance excessively better.

First before anything else, update the newest Javascript Software

Next, you'll need to download this small Java software.

As you see in the video, you will need to open this software once the Tablet is in Dev Mode, and USB has been connected.

**Remember not to set USB Drive option once USB Cable is plugged.

RECAP OF VIDEO
- To get into Dev Mode: 1 - select just type and enter "webos20090606" without quotes 2 - do not press enter, simply look down and select "WebOS Developer's Mode" 3 - Do not alter password simply press "Submit" 4 - At the top right move the switch to the ON position.

For Java App, Preware:
- After running tablet into Dev Mode, plug in your tablet, launch the Java App, and click update then install at bottom.
- Ensure that the Java App recognizes your "Device Tablet"
- A window will appear and your HP Tablet is now unlocked.

This is a very basic and simple way to get you started and to get your foot in the door towards a full fledge of apps and homebrew applications that would never have been possible without Preware.

well, i haven't tried it personally, but its plugin that are applied on OS boot. Try alternating OS Files. Make sure the publishers are legit first tho, cuz a mistake may brick your touchpad :)
