Project: Andy's Room

This is something I started over a year ago (sometime before Feb 09). As a fan of Toy Story I always wanted to see how well I could replicate the room seen in the first movie.

hey on that dvd does it have refrenc images for woody? or any other chrecters or was it just buzz? XD i allready made a buzz lightyear model and i wanna make a woody but i have no images tht can be used to mdoel it form XD alot to help animate and help with his topogly but nothing toh elp get his basic structer XD lol so i wanna know if there is wodoy images on there liek there was of tht buzz image

@1ard That ref of Buzz didn't actually come from any dvd, but rather John Lasseter's youtube vids talking about Thinkway's Toy Story Collection. He goes in detail about how they used the digital data to make the toys as accurate as possible. While doing so they show wireframes. so check his video about Woody and there you'll see wires for him. Their even in HD . They don't show its full body from the front view though which is kind of a bummer. You'll see what I mean.

@gmcubed yeah i know XD i seen ti XD hey can u tell me what ya think of my buzz? :P lol i spent about 3 mounths of hard work on it XD do u think i have a good chance of geting into this feild? :P tht was the second model i made XD so i dont think its tht good =]... iam only a 16 so i am not sure if i havce what it takes to be an animator :P so iam rounding my self out iam gonna practice modeling animating lighting drawing XD and anything else tht will help me :P do u have an suggestions?

@1ard You still need practice (Im seeing a lot of unwanted lumps) but frankly you might have a better chance than me at getting into the industry. Remember, I'm not in it myself yet either. and your way further than I was at your age, and in some ways even my current age (22).

@MapleLunii Ive done some freelance graphic design work, but for the most part I'm unemployed. Never had a real job in fact.

@gmcubed yeah well i have been drawiong for 4 years XD and i have been into cgi for 2 years.. but i recently moved from anim8or to blender and my modeling and animation improved greatly XD plus my speed :P i made tht model to help me get into the program so i could start on my big project iam wanting to do =]
