OK... first off, she never "left" No Doubt. They took a break after like 15 years of being a band, and who could blame them, that shit is hard ass work. And how are you gonna fault someone for branching out and doing something different. Im no fan of her pop albums, but I'm not gonna hold it against her. It made her uber-popular and only benefited No Doubt that much more. By the way, saw them in May in Fresno and it was a phenomenal show!!

i feel the lyrics and music on return of Saturn is simply beautiful.

Good band, too bad they didn't keep the ska sound in 'em. Their best stuff is ska-based.
And about solo career of G.Stefani, well, not a fan, but I guess after some time even the good songs get borish and you need to move on a bit.
