This little humming Bird landed on our door step and we took care of this beauty .... one part sugar, 3 part water home brew .. and after few drinks from my Thai SeaShell... it flew through our window and flies happily again.
Listen to my composition... I am sure this humming bird would like it:

@YourFanForLife23 You can always call an Emergency Vet and they may know of some injured bird rehabilitators in your area you could call. You might be able to locate someone online too. You can make nectar yourself for hummingbirds: 1 cup water with 1/4 cup plain white sugar (Do NOT use confectioners sugar or honey or brown sugar!!)

@Alchymyst02 Awwww that was really nice of you! I'm sure the little bird appreciated it too!
Wish others would always be so kind to all animals.

@YourFanForLife23 just a broken wing hey........... mmm ok just break the other one to make it even.................... better yet if you think a broken wing is not such a big deal for a flying bird give it up to a vet cause thats pretty much a death sentence.

I saved a hummingbird on Sept. 11, 2010. He had knocked himself out on my back porch and I put him in a flower bed so he could rest for a bit and have someplace a bit more stable and comfortable to stay. I fed him homemade nectar (warm water and sugar in a syringe) and he drank every last drop. No sooner had he finished it that he looked me right in the eyes and darted off to my white pine in the front yard.
