Its the reason why he faked the quotes that exposes this fraud. He faked them to fit a false narrative that was baseless in fact.

You don't get it. Its not just about self plagiarism (which he did a lot of) his fake quotes and all the fakery of this man was to build false narratives about neuroscience and how the mind works in relation to creativity. His ideas are empty and non-existent. He twisted whatever information or facts he could find to suit his arguments. If I did that in Univeristy, I would receive 0% on my essay. He's just a wannabe Malcolm Gladwell.

SPOT on. Exactly like those two mashed together. Maybe add a little Topher Grace in there...no?

Besides the Bob Dylan quotes, he also copyed-edit his own past work to his new articles. I've followed Jonah Lehrer work for a long time and I saw him doing this often but I didn't think anything of it, I just alwayst took as a nice refresher of his past material, I didn't realized he was also breaking journalisim rules and such..

But in the end it was about the science and many of his articles i've looked into seemed legitimate since he backed it up with research, studies, journals, and such
