Introducing Kiddo Publishing/the Figureheads

Kiddo Publishing produces and promotes positive hip hop for kids created and performed by the Figureheads. Kiddo Publishing and the Figureheads have just released their highly anticipated second kiddo hip hop album, 'The Movement.' Fueled by their real-life encounters with kids in schools, therapy environments and after school programs, these new songs explore the universal themes of making good decisions, discovering one's voice and celebrating the power of family and friendship.

What an amazing way to get kids involved in a positive dialogue. I think it is great that the Figureheads can use a medium like hip hop to really deliver an uplifting message to kids who are hungry for it. This truly is a powerful tool.

I think it's great how the group incorporated the youth into a growing field of music and gives kids the chance to experience hip hop in a different kind of way. The video gives a great impression of the band and its audience-it's very cool!
