The dress she's wearing is the modified version of Vietnamese traditional dress called "áo tứ thân". Hence the dress and the instrument are Vietnamese, but the head dress is not. The traditional head dress of the Vietnamese and the Jing ethnic in China is a circular one.

soundofnature01..are you pretending? you dont find that questionable that there is such an ethic that you claimed has similar dress, similar traditional monocord.and thats just by accidence that they are not the same people? you got to be kidding.Thats vietnamese from the past right there..even close ethics like cantonese and other south chinese you dont find that such resemblance in such high degree. Monocord strictly vietnamese.

I Love Lei Ying and the 12 Girl Band.
I have a Play list with over 30 of their songs in it.
They inspired me to get a Erhu, Pipa, and some Bamboo Flutes.
I would Love to have one of these instruments too.
Thanks for posting.

MONOCHORD IS VIETNAMESE INSTRUMENT, IS NOT CHINESE.

Dan Bau or Duxianqin are the same thing. Jing people moved to China about 300-400 years ago from north Vietnam. Nowadays there are still around 25,000 of them.

@HaLong8006 oh! this intrument is not of VietNamese, sure!
This instrument is Vietnamese. Why is she wearing a Zhuang head dress then? This is like wearing Hanfu with a Manchu hat.

This instrument is not Vietnamese, though Vietnamese have a similar one.
This is Duxianqin from Jing ethnic group in China. What she's wearing is also traditional Jing costume.
