Brewed by monks but not bottled by them, it is not bottled in the monastrey. Anyroad they currently have the Red Chimay at Morrisons and the Blue at ADSA, both are well worth the extra pennies Oh and Duvel (devil) is not an Abbey beer.

trappist is an order of monastery. like a franciscan monastery or cistercian monartery.
its like the difference between navy, army , air force. they are different but part of the same body (usa). . all the different orders of monks are part of catholicism.

did you go to Belgium? by the way the Chimay Blue is more tasty ( i'm from Belgium) we got more than 1000 kinds of beers you should go to the webiste of the Delirium café et you'll find all of the belgians beers and a lot from around the world
