Sharly, John, and Frankie Before Frankie and Cass's Engagement Party, 1990

Sharly is in charge, and she pretends to be Sharlene and lies to John that she got called in to work at The Pelican Club. John is going to see "The Iceman" (aka Grant Harrison) but will be back in plenty of time for Cass and Frankie's engagement party. Sharly says that Frankie has everything under control, quickly kisses John, and leaves. After she leaves, Frankie interrupts John's reverie to ask about tabasco sauce for the salsa. He distractedly tells her it's in the refrigerator door, then comes back to the moment when Frankie asks if he called St. Rafael's. John tells her he did, and they're sending him Sharlene's records. He has to get the records, he insists, in order to find out what's really bothering Sharlene. Frankie has something she wants John to taste, so they head into the kitchen.
