  • The way adult link died in the water was simply depressing.

  • Watching him die as a child is just downright unsettling, particularly if it's a drowning or burning death. I have no problem subjecting him to all manner of horrible barbarity as an adult, but somehow watching that little body keel over pathetically and just lie there broken manages to pluck a twinge of remorse out of even my blackened gamer's heart.

  • Warning never play this game when at a young age because when I got a game over I swear that song made me cry and run to my bed and cover myself as I saw link die

  • @dirofreak according to the official zelda timeline he caused the "Hero is defeated" timeline to happen at 0:40
