India's population is roughly three times that of the U.S. - and it's only a third of its size. Although overall there is plenty of water in the country, much of it is heavily contaminated with sewage and agricultural runoff. It is estimated that about one in five communicable diseases in India are caused by unsanitary water. Distributed by TubeMogul.

I think the Indian Government should put a stop to giving birth in most overpopulated parts of India.

About 60% of fresh water streams in America were destroyed by runoff from factory farming. Also the amount of water that North America (alone) feeds to its cattle could feed the population of Africa 3 times over.

Most of that water is filled with so much salt you would die from it. It has to be treated and THAT cost cash! There is water surrounding austrailia but it is in a terible drought.

most of that 70% is found in our earth's oceans, which we cannot use. the other tiny fraction is our lakes, rivers, groundwater, and glaciers. the problem is we are taking water from these sources faster than they can renew water, which leads to a water deficit.
