A Primer for Dental Extraction (1999). Direction and Cinematography by Carl Wiedemann. Synopsis: The protagonist aggressively cleans her teeth and chain-smokes. Pursued by the camera, she assaults it repeatedly. The soundtrack includes abrasive noise, melodic harp and a laugh-track. Technical: Photographed with Arriflex SB and Bolex 16mm cameras. COOL video man! i love the soundtrack and when it moves into electronic/synth. how did you make the film pulsate at near the beginning..

I was able to achieve the erratic exposure variations in the opening sequence by hand cranking the film through a Bolex 16mm film camera. There are also some sections of the film that were shot one frame at a time and with long exposure durations - which creates the blurring and streaking images.

You did a great job my friend. You could actually make a full lenght feature film with this story. This is true indie filmmaking at it's best. Keep up the good work.
