@hamrto1 You are mistaken Mr. Perms curls the hair-back in the late1980s perms were well known for both black and white men and women. The name referred to chemically straightening afro hair is called Relaxing. FYI not all black women wear weaves as a cause of self-hate. In addition, straight weaves are not the only type of weave out there as they are black women who wears coily weaves or haven't you heard!

@4toshiba The fact remains that white people don't wear weaves to give the illusion that their natural hair is straight because it already IS. And again, you are misinformed lady! Perms straighten african-american coily, curly hair so that it will be straight. For caucasian and other races, perms give their hair a curl.

@hamrto1 Britney Spears was only used as an example purely for humour. However, Britney is known to wear hair extensions even though her hair is naturally straight, as you have mentioned. I ask again STOP generalising "a lot of you black women". You have been brained washed into thinking that black people cannot have wavy hair without them being mixed... You even apply the western terminology by referring to the Afro-hair straightening method as perm when in fact perm chemically curls the hair.

People. Chill with this she fake cause of he marriage or lack of one. You have to understand she was only about 23 and famous. She was scared or afraid of what people might think because of her good girl image. WHich does not make it right. However if she didn't do what she did the media would have ripped her apart. We live. We learn. We grow. and she has publicly said she regrets lying so people please give it a rest. spoken truth!
