  • One of the best San Soo videos online.

  • @xtremefight thanks man!

  • Does anyone know who the tall fighter is in the blue street clothes? His style looks real effective for street survival, but that;s what San Soo is about. Difficult to master but a great way to survive in real street conditions.

Unfortunately, there seems to be fewer San Soo schools around anymore. Master Tony Horton closed down his Pasadena studio years ago. Is Master Tony still running a school somewhere in the LA area?

  • That would be the man, Jimmy H. Woo in the blue street clothes!

Sifu Tony is teaching in Monrovia, CA. His studio is on S. Primrose. QuanYin Kung Fu

  • I trained with Bill Lasiter for a year... this is awesome to see him in an earlier year

  • @Gieszkanne really? cuz it was the quan yin monks that formed the art. its like having a gun, u dont have to shoot to kill, u can be merciful, u dont have to shoot someone in the head to prove it can kill them

  • Very good demos. They were skilled, no doubt.

I have done kenpo a long time, and I noticed several techniques that started exactly the same way as some of my system's techniques. In general, their movement looked very familiar to me, and I know it isn't a coincidence. Very cool art.

  • very nice video, I was very surprised to see Jimmy there too! I recognize those clips from a highlight of Jimmy my teacher has in his possession.

  • I watch this vid 10 times a day. So much joy watching the original guys doing their stuff. Thanks for sharing :-)

  • I believe Tony Horton teaches in Monrovia Ca
