Dog and Puppy FIGHT For Chewy Shoes!

Annie was becoming very disenchanted with all the responsibilities of pet ownership... one of which allowed him to take her chewies... and he is a packrat so he keeps taking, and taking - everything, yesterday he had a GOLF ball, I don't golf, what the heck? If you are looking for something here, you will probably find it in Charlie's bed.

Annie is a caretaker and mother to ALL the animals here. She was a "found" dog, on a Texas highway, it was quickly disovered that she was a "breeder female" which explains everything about her behavior in all the videos you see her in.
Nobody is as loved as she is, every animal here may not LOVE her but she has a level of acceptance that none of then back away from.

Little Annie arrived, shaking all over, wanting to STAY in a carrier, and NOT housebroken. She is now an extrovert, willing to give her all to anyone wanting affection, or not. She is the reason for all I was able to accomplish all I was able to with the ferals.

Nobody LOVES as unconditonally as Annie. Nobody.

I appreciate the kind words but I am not doing anything special at all. They are worth it. I think a lot more people would do the same thing if they knew what happened to them at the shelters, especially the ferals, they didn't do anything wrong except be born wild, this is their land more than mine and I try to honor that by taking care of the things they cannot do for themselves, it's great having them around! :-)

No, delight, he was not a stray. I got him when I learned his next stop was the shelter. All my other animals are from shelters or came to me as strays. I just got the newest addition fixed, a cat who wandered up and was obviously dumped, he had burrs and tangles all in his hair and he had cuts all over his feet and face. He looks much better now, a week later. :-)

You're one of the most awesome people I've come across. Someone who dedicates so much time to their animals and takes excellent care of them. Someone who saves abandoned animals and rescues them from shelters. We all should be so wonderful. My boy is adopted, and I love him more than anything, and he wasn't any 200-3500 dollar "designer dog" or akc full breed, he's a mutt and exactly the way I love him. We should all adopt from shelters and be spaying and neutering our pets! :-)
