A simple piece that demonstrates some basic percussive fingerstyle guitar techniques: slapped harmonics and steady rhythmic string slaps (a la John Martyn) that keep the piece chugging along.

This piece will form the basis of a forthcoming tutorial on percussive acoustic fingerstyle guitar.

  • wow man i love your stuff.. please tell me you'll make a cd soon. i'd love to have a cd with your stuff. a lot of talent here. 0:40 to 0:47is so melodic! What kind of martin is that? keep doing what you're doing.

  • @DarkLink1080 Thanks - the guitar is a Tanglewood TW73 Parlour. I am working on some tracks for a CD, but progress is a bit slow at the moment due to other commitments.
