I always wanted to make a video about the episode "The Girl in The Fireplace", because it's one of my favourites Season 2 episodes. It's just so romantic, and really sad, and shows a side of the Doctor that we don't get to see that often. I love the setting, the characters are great and so is the plot...I simply love it :)
So here's my tribute to it. I hope it came out nice. I wanted to use warm colours in it, but I also wanted to add a dreamy effect. I wonder if that happened.

Anyway,
Program used: Pinnacle Studio 10 (this time it never crashed, yeeh)
Music: Madame de Pompadour by Murray Gold (Doctor Who, Season 2 OST).

This is an entry for the "Just One Episode Says It All" Contest, held by MitsuCat2, so here is a little plot summary for the judges (Spoilers for episode 2x04 "The Girl in the Fireplace" of Doctor Who):
"While exploring a 51st century spaceship, the Doctor finds an 18th century French fireplace. Looking though the fireplace, the Doctor sees a young girl, Reinette. She lives in Paris, in 1727. The fireplace is a "time window", allowing direct access to another time and place. Examining Reinette' s room, the Doctor discovers a ticking humanoid hiding under her bed. Returning after a while to her bedroom, the Doctor finds that Reinette is now a young woman. Returning to the ship, the Doctor finds several additional time windows, each leading to a different moment of the life of Reinette (which is the historical figure of Madame de Pompadour). The Doctor appears many times in the life of Reinette, saving her from the androids that stalk her. The last time he visits her, he finds out that she's dead only a few hours before. She left him a letter."
I hope that was sort of clear.
Oh, and Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Bat :P
