Who will emerge victorious?

  • Beautiful footage! Horses are amazing creatures. I find it so sad that humans deicide to kill wild horses to control the population. If its that important then capture them and give them to new homes. They don't have to be killed. Again this is beautiful!

  • YAY PHYCOTIC RUN AROUND.

Cloud is one smart horse. ;]

Oh I know. I own two myself.

However, the horses could be left free to roam. If the majority of humans were not so self prioritized that is. Still many could still find homes. Mustangs are much hardier then many of the horses bred today. Why? Because they are not bred for show, but survive because they are there through natural selection.

There are other ways for population control. Such as gelding stallions, etc.

Well if that’s how it is now it won’t be soon. Thanks to Obama signing that bill.

But the fact still remains many wild horses still get killed for population control. Whether its done by BLM or not.

  • @SmallvilleFanatic600 The BLM doesn't lill them. Not intentionally, That's the formal story, anyway. Roundups are often done too aggressively and some horses end up dead because of it, but every horse that survives the roundup is either auctioned to buyers (who are not allowed to resell them for a year or sell them to slaughter) or put in the adoption program, or those that don't get adopted end up in long term holding. That's pastures for life. Not killed.

  • Cloud's got a thing for blue roans!

  • @SmallvilleFanatic600 The problem is that keeping horses is very expensive, especially in today's age. As much as I agree with you that it's a shame, it is very, *very* difficult finding homes for even well-bred, riding quality horses nowadays, forget a middle-aged mustang.

  • I love that bay horse with the white in his mane. I just think its adorable!

  • i love the Red roan stallion i wish i was his owner he's so beautiful

  • @xxTwilightLuvxx he has to be or else face the loss of his band

  • @PieRSquareYAY

I know, but if you our population that we have as humans, I am sure each of the wild horses captured could find their own little girl or boy to love them.

I am glad to see that more and more people are at least helping re-home the TB's that are either retired from racing or didn't have what it takes to be a race horse. So many of those horses have so much potential in other disciplines! Now if only more people would help with the wild horses

  • @SmallvilleFanatic600 They usually use them for dog food and other things; sometimes a horse will get lucky though and be bought by someone looking for a pet. I honestly don't understand why people do that though with all the livestock this nation has...
