Maintenance Science Theater 3000 Part 4

The War Hour? Nellis fighter pilots? Two bad-attitude robots and their plucky creator? Throw all of this together and you get a healthy dose of Maintenance Science Theater 3000. This 1996 video was the last, best, and legendary presentation at the Friday event known as 'The War Hour'. All officers at Nellis AFB had to report to the officers club for a rotating duty where each unit on base had to present their contribution to the Air Force mission. The event devolved into a stagnant litany of stock film rolls of Vietnam strafing runs and Desert Storm tank kills. As the outgoing Wing commander, Grumpy, was welcoming his replacement, Buzz, the rotational presentation duty fell to the maintainers who prepared this video in the spirit of Mystery Science Theater 3000. What followed next is the stuff of legend, and culminated with Buzz's declaration that War Hour was at a final end that day... it couldn't get any better than this. And there was much rejoicing.
