This video demonstrates how to make a square flush cut on a large timber, or any piece of wood. This is a technique used in timberframing. Few pieces of wood area actually square, but this technique will result in a planer cut relative to reference faces. This is but one techniuque. Everyone must find what they are most comfortable with and produces the results they desire.

  • Wow I can't believe that I have subscribers! I guess that means I'll have to make more videos? I'm in the process of getting a new, far more powerful computer, a new editing program, and a new camera, and do plan to make more. It's fun!
