@Blord111 If my memory serves me correctly, then I remember the South African driver that borrowed a Wildcat for racing in the UK was one Harry Van der Spuy. He, along with with other non UK drivers such as Dick Zimmerman (USA) were drafted in to give the World Championship more of an international flavour, as I remember it.

Great to see my Childhood Hero 375 George Ansell out there he was the KING OF TAR at Harringay that much I do Know.
Would love to see more footage of George in action if thare are any floating about.

Superb footage - lovely stuff! First clip is Brafield I think and I'm sure I saw a Gold Top Doug Cronshaw which would make it between Sept 1971 and Sept 1972. Got a feeling the other, longer track was Caldwell Park but the nagain it could well be Brands Hatch. Either way, fantastic, thanks for posting

Where was the track where the cars are going around what looks like a circuit with left and right bends down a hill? About 3.5 mins in?

great !! brings to life all the old pictures from books + mags, did i see two wildcats at ?? brands at 2.34 or was i seeing things.

Yep, 2 wildcats - cant make it out but it looks like SA on the second car (South Africa)?
