Titanic TV Miniseries (The Titanic) Part 1

This is the 1996 version of the Titanic movie, the Titanic TV miniseries.

In this part, Alice Cleaver wakes up after she has a nightmare about the oncoming disaster and then departs her home, with the thought of the disaster on her mind. She ends up with the Allison's, babysitting their children after their pervious nanny left them. After, Captain Smith and William walk on the boat deck of the Titanic, talking about the crew and getting ready for her Maiden Voyage. Captain Smith leaves and he shortly joins up with Bruce Ismay, who is with some reporters that's on the ship. Smith leaves to the bridge for last preparations and Ismay leads the reporters to the first-class dining room. Ismay claims that, after he was asked about the lifeboats, that Titanic is the most advanced vessel (in 1912). After, he leaves and William comes in and takes the reporters for a tour of the bridge. After, a side-wiper named Jamie Pierce, runs from the police and runs into a bar and hides, where he meets Simon Doonan, a theif and Mr. Dickie. Doonan gives Jamie his hat when he sees the policemen enter the bar.

the alice cleaver pictured here is 100% inaccurate, 'cos they portray her as a baby killer, mistaking her with another woman. Also the Allisons were Canadians, not Americans.

It's nice to hear different music on a Titanic movie for a change.I had nothing to do with the Titanic in a past life & unfortunately little to do with it in this one. I like to movies though. This looks like a good one here.
