Listen to the song and see if you can solve the mystery before the ending is revealed.

This is Day 5 of experimenting with Windows XP movie maker. I'm a bit bored with still photos and decided to try something a little different.

The ongoing dialog is melded from several real-life conversations with friends as they worked through the mystery. I decided to create the video to mimic watching one of these conversations.

You can tell we are hard-core music fans.

  • If you like rarities and want to discover more gems like this, check out my new bulletin board--click on "more info" about this video, upper right.

  • OK - Tarenberk maybe you can answer a few questions. If this is a cover by Ryan Guidry why hasn't he done anything esle ? Why pick this song. Why is the CD £95 ($200) on Amazon UK. Why no artist details. Why is this track mis-spelt.

No my friend. I have been listening to the Moodies for a long long time. That is J Haywood. That is his guitar. That is J Lodge on harmony and that is certainly a mellotron being played by M Pinder. If I am wrong then Guidry is going to make a lot of $

  • I've corresponded with Ryan Guidry - it's really Ryan, not Justin.

  • Remixed version of "London is Behind Me." Is there a audio of an old song, done around the same time of the original version of "London is Behind Me" called "Can't Face the World Without You?"

  • It's clever but is NOT Justin! And yes, I've made a video for "I Can't Face The World Without You" - check out my youtube page for more rarities.

  • Thank you all so much for the kind responses! I am thrilled. Please check out my original band at myspace. com/catch35 - Ryan

  • Hey Ryan, ever think of remaking "I Can't Face The World Without You"??? Smiles, Taran

  • Taranberk comes thru again with another long lost Moodies-related gem!!! Thanks for sharing for all to enjoy!! How about a hand for Taranberk??? Who is with me????

  • Who would like to support me to get The Moody Blues, i.c. Justin Hayward honoured by a NOBEL MUSIC PRIZE in 2009?? If support for my initiative is substantial, I'd like to spend quite some hours to realize that dream. I think they deserve such an honour because of their top class music for decades and more than one generation.

  • @ArashiFan4Ever Good point Arashi--I believe he would be honoured that someone would labour so intensely and accurately to upgrade this song to the feel of a "Magnificent Seven" release. bigrinz has even got it wired to the final fadeout; making the song drift like it was about to merge with the following song--a trait the Moodies were famous for back in the Pinder days as there was never any silence between songs on their album sides.

  • I wonder if Justin has ever heard this version...and what he thinks of it. Knowing the wonderful, kind man he is, he would most likely be amazed, then pleased, and then heap tons of compliments onto Guidry.

  • I believe the Justin chorus thing also appeared on "Send Me No Wine".

  • That is Mikes Mellotron

  • lol gee, tonypendrey must really know what he's talking about if he can't even spell Justin's last name right. lol

  • Listening to that track has cost me a lot of money......I just had to hear more!

    Thank you for sharing xx

  • Jeez, you really had me fooled, too! I don't see much of Ryan Guidry on YouTube. Any skinny on this kide

  • This is "London is Behind Me" it was originally a solo recording by Justin. I didn't think the Moodies re-recorded it together.

  • Thanks for posting and I enjoyed the comments. I do remember that lava lamp.
