The William Shakespeare hauled by 60163 Tornado is seen at three locations. On the outward leg from London Paddington to Stratford-Upon-Avon the rail tour is seen at Little Bourton, north of Banbury. The second location shows the turning manoeuvre as the locomotive heads for Dorridge and is seen passing Hatton North Junction. The final clip, in extremely wet conditions and with fading light, shows the rail tour passing Daw Mill Colliery. The tour will pass Nuneaton, take the Coventry line and then onto Leamington to retrace its path back to London Paddington.

  • A fantastic set of well framed shots. I filmed Tornado from the crossing down at the bottom of the field at Little Bourton. Thanks for the excellent uploads and all the best for 2012 -Hayden.

  • @siobhan104 To be honest the first shot turned out to be luck as I had planned to video from one of the three foot crossing on this stretch of line. Thanks for your comment and a Happy New Year to you. Regards, John
