Leading worship at Logos Bible Church and Calvary Baptist Church, both in McAllen, TX. Calvary Baptist is my home church. Until about 3 years ago it was a fairly traditionally based blend of worship at Calvary. I was a catalyst that helped start a new service there. Now the church has 3 services one more classic and two that are more contemporary with some "re-done hymns". I fill in there whenever I get a chance. Logos Bible Church is an Acts 29 church plant that Is pastored by a guy I've done ministry with for the past 7 years or so. It is about a year old and has grown from 10 to around 100 in the year. Everyone is a volunteer at Logos and there is virtually no budget. Logos is much more organic in nature with a deep love for the culture. We write much of our own music and use that in our worship. This video shows some of the same music being done with two totally seperate bands in two totally different context churches.
