Madrassa Tul Madinah in Karachi


Introduction:
Madrasa-tul-Madinah (Trust) is managing the biggest network of madaris in Karachi to teach Quraan-e-Majeed and Sunnah of Holy Prophet(Salallah-o-Alaih Wasallam) to children.

This institute is running 220 madaris in the city, where 900 Qurra & Huffaz teachers are teaching Holy Quran & Sunnah to about 31,000 students.

Teaching of Holy Quran:
Teaching of Holy Quran in Madrasa-tul-Madinah is strictly according to the tenants of Tajweed & Tarteel.

Students are guided to learn by heart the basic rules of Qirat & Tajweed. In the full day section, class timing is 8:00 am to 4:00 pm; whereas in the shift section, class timing is 2 hours.

Performance Evaluation:
To evaluate the performance of students, bimonthly test are held in all the three sections viz.; Qaida, Nazra & Hifz of each Madrasa. Senior Qaries take these tests. And reports are sent to parents for their active participation.

Moral Training:
For teaching basic principals of Islam and moral values Madani Nisaab is prepared. Lesson from this Nisab (course) is delivered daily to students. Also the Mudarris guides students to act upon Sunnah in their routine lives. Moral report of every student is prepared bimonthly and is also sent to parents for their assertion & comments.

Mudarris Course:
Madrasa-tul-Madinah also conducts Mudarris Course. In this course Mudarris are trained to teach Holy Quran according to Tajweed & Tarteel. In order to improve Mudarris ability to understand Holy Quraan. Arabic is also taught in this course. They are also trained to manage the class and handle the children according to their psyche.

Extra curricular activities:
To develop & polish the talents of children, competitions of Qira, Naat, Bayan & Quiz are held every year.

Dar-ul-Huffaz Tuition Center:
Presently, Madrasa-tul-Madinah is running tuition centers in three madaris. In these centers Hafiz children are given remedial classes to prepare them for matric exams. The curriculum of these centers also includes memorization of Manzil, Qirat-o-Tajweed and Arabic.

Upto now thousands of children have become Hafiz-e-Quraan and numerous have completed Nazra-e-Quraan from it's various branches. This great work of "Sawa-be-jaria" is growing day by day.
