Robitussin is an over-the-counter cough medicine containing the psychedelic, dissociative drug Dextromethorphan. During a six-month-long Robitussin binge, the already schizophrenic writer, Che Elias, experienced mind-bending phantasmagorias. Images of clownish horror and off-key renditions of pop songs swirled into a surreal nightmare. This experimental documentary provides a hypnotizing window into one man's dissociative experience.
