The most ironic thing is: you go your whole life, looking for a man. A man that is going to be there for you. To support you. To make you feel safe, to support you, emotionally, financially..every way.
Then you find out, there's nothing there. Just a littel boy, wrapped up inside a man's body. We were lied to all along. All the fairytales. We're the one's have to rescue ourself. Men - children.. Women - little girls who HAVE to grow up to look after men. Where did the REAL men go?

@nthrcrpusrnme I hear what your saying. I raised my 2 daughters to depend on oneone but themselves. That's the best way to stay strong. But if you do find a good man that's great but ALWAYS put something to the side in case he just ups and bolts out the door. The best advice a father can give his daughter...

@kuddenchristo I really think she's singing this. I'm usually good at picking up on lip-syncing. The reason I say that is because when you lip-sync you sing into a dead mic but at the end of the song she says (I can't believe you know all the words) Clearly shes holding a live mic. The music is recorded though.

Unfortunatley a lot of (Neneh's) 80's TV appearences we're mimed or with a live vocal over a backing tracks due to the logositics of filming multiple bands quickly for television, rather than a reflection of anyones musical ability. This clip is posted for it's rarity value (& Neneh's great outfit) rather than her vocal talent.
