Vilambit Khayal - Raag Saraswati:
Sanhita Nandi is an exponent of North Indian Vocal, Kirana Gharana: Khayal and Thumri genres. After initial riyaz and training at Durgapur, Sanhita was later groomed by Late Pandit A. Kanan, a disciple of Ustad Amir Khan in Kirana Gharana. She got an added exposure under Pandit Vinayak Torvi in Kirana and Gwalior traditions. This opened out the large canvas of vilamit to fast tempo tarana gayaki that has been developed over the last 150 years in India by various gharana masters. After years of riyaz, and greatly influenced by Gharana maestro's she has assimilated the distinctive features of the Kirana Gharana.

Excellent. This is what was missing in the world of Indian classical music. It's always a pleasure to listen to you :)

Do you have any recordings of raags where you work more in the lower octave? Honestly I have no words to explain how beautiful your voice sounds in the bass. You are like a hidden gem, this is the first time I have heard you.
