  • You tend to play it slower because your fingers simply aren't sufficiently nimble.

  • My piano teacher told me that Chopin's style is irregular- at some parts you need to play it quick and some other parts slow. But the overall piece should be played in a slow melody, so listeners can feel the soul of the music piece gradually yet strongly.
