You don't have to expose your hands with this system either.

mirror sights arn't new, australians had them in golipoli in WW1

Yeah,no real army is gonna spend 5-10,000 dollars to shoot around a corner. This is a helluva lot cheaper, and is simpler. And there is almost no way, with an AK47(I guess all terrorist shoot with an AK47 in your mind, maybe the media tells you that, but alot of them use M16's and the like.)To actually hit that small of a target realistically in a short time.

Ok I stand corrected - there is a version of cornershot with a short 5.56 assault rifle, but still, a mountable sight is less bulky and several times cheaper. Both of them have their advantages and disadvantages.

What are you talking about?? Have you even seen the Cornershot?? It's a system allowing for operation of HANDGUNS around a corner. This guy is firing an assault rifle which makes a huge difference in effective range and stopping power. The Cornershot is good for police officers in close quarters situations, but this allows you to shoot around corners and still use your rifle as usual. Now give me a reason why Cshot is better?

yes the CS is much better ^^ israel made
Cornershot now has weapons that can accomodate assault rifles and 40mm grenade launchers.
One advantage of Cornershot is that, unlike this system, you don't have to expose your hands or arms when using it.
Also, while electronic optics have a better chance of failure simply due to more complexity, they also give you the ability to record and transmit data, and I believe the Cornershot has a "fisheye" option to give you a wider field of view as well.
Personally I think both have their merits!

omg, cornershot is a $5k+ pistol, with electronic optics that can fail. Not only that, Sibirian is right, it's Israeli. This device is an accessory that attaches to an existing assault rifle! Do a web search on the title, it's worth it. This is L/R handed, and flips down to give a backup iron sight in case the electronic optic fails. Hands down, ingenious product. Cornershot doesn't come close... there's nothing like this.
