@SearchBucket2 Garrison wasn't a nutter. He saw that the facts didn't add up and wanted the truth. But the truth is, even if there was a conspiracy (which simply means more than one person involved), doesn't mean that the military was involved.

There really WAS a cover-up - but that was just the Secret Service trying to cover-up their incompetence that led to Kennedy's death. It is their own fault if that made them look suspicious.

@MortenB0 I agree...I mean he was in the lunch room shortly after the assassination..That would make it impossible for him to make it down from the 6th floor without being winded...I think they ran tests on the fingerprint on the box and it came up to match the finger print of Malcolm Wallace who was one of Lyndon Johnson's people...Shady shit!

Hollywood has the biggest say in a modern times and can write history however it wants. .. and even sadder ... so many believe the bullshit,

Garrison was a nutter (thats from his peers too!), yet here he is portrayed as a truth seeking rhetoric spurting hero.

The JFK film is baloney. Sadly so many will take it as a true account of history.

ITS JUST A FILM PEOPLE ... no more no less ... with an objective to make money ... don't loose sight of that!

@johnny511000 The real life Garrison did acknowledge mistakes made in his investigation and admitted that he may not have a definitive answer but what he DID achieve was to undermine the claims of the Warren Commission. More or less the film wanted to highlight that thanks to Garrison's presentation of new evidence that there was a conspiracy or at least cover up in the death of JFK. (No offence intended! :)

This whole movie does not make any sense. If you believed this movie, then you would have to believe that the CIA, FBI, military-industrial complex, LBJ, Fidel Castro, the Mafia, the KGB, the anti-Castro Cubans, the right wing in the South, and the homosexual community all met together someplace to coordinate an effort to kill Kennedy. Come on! How stupid can you be?
