Super Mario World 96 Exit Walkthrough Part 16 - Valley Of Bowser (1)

In this episode we cover:

Sunken Ghost Ship

IRRITATING LEVEL. In the second room these boos reappear and disappear about ever second. They constantly block your path and can even spawn right on top of you. My only recommendation is to take it slow and stop immediately when the reappear so you can get a path real quick. In the 3rd room be sure to try and fall towards the center of the room so you can grab a second star that will let you remain invincible throughout the whole fall.

Valley Of Bowser 1

I don't have too much to save about this level, but a Yoshi or a Cape is useful to help deal with the megamoles, as there are times where you can be trapped then killed by them.

Valley Of Bowser 2

BRING A YOSHI.

This level perplexed/annoyed me for ages, thus I allowed a death in this video, which I normally don't. First room watch out everytime you get to a ledge to jump as the annoying bat will come down and hit you. In the second room be sure to hit the ? Box if you've got a Yoshi so you can cut through to the next level.

Valley Of Bowser 2 (Secret Exit)

To get the secret make it all the way through the second room and just into the third. Most places say you need a cape, but the way I demonstrated you clearly don't. Just make it past the first area of the room to the pit with the Megamole and then climb/fly your way up to the left ceiling and run all the way to the left to get the secret exit.

@disasterpiece0302 I feel like you already know this one but you seemed to be having a hard time with the green shells in Valley 2. Hold down when spitting out a green, blue, or yellow shell to have it drop in front of you instead of shooting out and fearing ricochet. AND THANK YOU FOR SHOWING HOW TO GET THE 1-UPS IN THE SWITCH PALACES!! OMG I could never figure those out! You are really good at this game. I hate Chocolate Island as well. The designers were "silly mcsilly pants" on those levels.

@Toolboy1015 I did, I'm not sure why I didn't in these levels, but I know I do it when I use Blue Shell Yoshi.

While Shigeru Miyamoto initially imagined Mario as a carpenter in Donkey Kong, back in 1981 where he was called jumpman.

which was his orignal name and design for mario.

but also he is refencing to a serval singers that have the last name Carpenters, that also have songs containing THE word "dream" in there name.

one example The carpenters I can Dream Can't I

which relates to mario in the sense that he was orignally created for a carpenter but is a plumber by design.

Don't worry about that death. I died about 10 or 20 times in the falling yellow wall section of valley of bowser 2. I finally had to get yoshi and fly out of the level!

On valley of bowser 2 when you go through the first tube and go above theres a cape block, or mushroom depends if you already have mushroom

After like 2 dozen or a lot more tries I finally made it through to the secret exit pipe WITH my blue Yoshi still!!! It was pretty annoying but I do feel sorta accomplished, and now I know that it is indeed possible to make it thru with Yoshi. It's the part at 8:45 that I kept getting caught in but ya I'm glad it's over now. I was really just looking to see if someone else had a video of going thru it with yoshi.
