It doesn't look like this sad situation is going to be corrected in the near future, so for now we have to be content sitting through such pathetic fake show-biz birthday parties, complete with Tinseltown clowns for entertainment, instead of real judging for a real awards ceremony!
Satires aside, TV and movie people certainly do have NOTHING to do with the Eisners or any other comics awards.
Likewise, regular print comics being scanned for online display have NOTHING to do with being true webcomics created mainly for the web.
And this nonsense also affects the judging of such events, as the panel also has to consider every time how their decisions will play out both on stage and in YouTube videos!
