I know this may be unpopular to say on here, but I actually prefer this version to the killers, mainly as I'm not a huge indie fan. no disrespect intended, but as this is very obviously taking a good song with great lyrics and putting a different musical spin on it, you can't really compare the two (and you're not meant too). if you prefer the killers version be happy with it, if you like this version be happy with it.

Yes the killers version is great, beyond reproach. However this is also a decent enough cover, and like someone said you shouldn't do an exact replica. It should be made your own, while still recognisable to the original. This achieves that.

Shingai Shoniwa has a beautiful voice and I love this, but i'd love to hear this song with no lyrics. Would be great for a wedding or something :)
