Nice! I have been Wanting to get into fans and just go straight to getting fire fans to practice with and light up for shows... Because I am already tallented with poi and have some seriously double jointed fingers and wrists. I figure i'd be good at it. I would love some tips if you have any. And umm. Where would you suggest I buy my fans?
@HerbitualHooper Thanks lady! the fans I'm using in the video are from Home of Poi.com and they have 5 wicks. they offer fans with the wicks already on there or a cheap option ($70) for a make it yourself kit which i got and really enjoyed. they are bigger than most fans which is good for dancing and elegant poses but i find myself getting scared when trying to do spins and other difficult tricks. So you might want to check out some smaller fans with 3 or 4 wicks at first. Much love!!!
